Evaluating my progress

Dear Family and Friends,
I am a bit embarrassed to say that there are many things that the clinic in Mexico suggested that I have not been doing.  For example, 2 coffee enemas a week, fresh carrot juice and fresh vegetable juice each day, and 30 minutes in the sunshine.  These are easy to do, and I have no good excuse for not doing them.
Now the results of my blood test have come in, and my tumor marker score is up to 184, from 125.
So I am getting more religion.  I'm hunting around for a provider of IV Vitamin C locally.  Several are around, but they want $150 each session to $225 each session (wow!).  Kaiser has assured me that they do not provide IV Vitamin C.  I've switched breakfast from egg on sprouted bread toast to smoothie with spirolina.  And I had a coffee enema yesterday. And started Essiac tea. And am drinking fresh coconut juice each day.
At the insistence of Mike and Seth, I have a meeting with the Burzynski Clinic in Houston set for mid December.  Seth will go with me.  Dr. Burzynski uses "antineoplastons" and has several clinical trials going.  If they have something to offer me, then I will sign up.  I also have the forms for Gabriel Cousen's center in Arizona, but his next cancer retreat is in February.
It's open enrollment time for us seniors on medicare, so I'm switching us from Kaiser, which does all the lab tests and ct scans for free but not much else unless you are doing chemo or radiation, to another plan, which may cover some of these costs that will be coming up
I'm very grateful for all the help I had at Thanksgiving and after Thanksgiving.  Being less then fully healthy is teaching me how to receive help and support.  It's an important lesson.  But I still want to be in excellent health.  Your prayers and good wishes are gratefully accepted.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and I will keep you posted on my progress.
   With love,
      Carol

  2. Mom, you are such a fantastic person. May this lesson be learned from cancer so you can get back to thinking only about the things you enjoy most!
