Teeth out! Transfusion in!

Dear supporters,

Tuesday was the day of my dental appointment to have my root canal teeth removed.  My brother Norton and his wife Ellen arrived on Monday to be here with me.  Well, folks, I was so well sedated that I didn't feel very much at all, and by Wednesday, I felt pain free.  I will have gaps for those teeth for about 2 months or so, and by then I will be very good at chewing fine with my front teeth.
Today (Friday) I will get 2 units of blood.  Just to give me a boost.  My blood count is at 8.6 or so, and explains why I am dragging all the time.  So Ellen and Norton will have the day off.
They leave on Saturday, then Bernie comes on Sunday.  She leaves on Friday, then Michael will come for the weekend...  etc.
Yesterday Sonia took me for a manicure,  so my fingernails will look nice while I am getting my treatments.

Hope you are all well!   Love,  Carol

  1. Dear Carol,

It's heartwarming that you're getting love and caring from those you to whom you've always given so much. I know you'd rather give than receive, but please accept with an open heart and mind what we are able to offer. We hope you gain strength from the love that's being shared with you. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

To update you on us: We met Larry's girlfriend, Kate (I'll post her photo and info on your Facebook page) while we were in NY last week, and he told us "this is the one."

    Love always, Adrienne
